My aunt is 90, and my mum is 78. On Tuesday they both walked 9km. Yes folks you read that right… 9km. The key to achieving this is taking things at a slower pace.
We’ve taken the stairs slowly (where electronic options are not available – temples), and the wheelchair routes have proved to be very helpful.
We’ve even managed to get them walking around without their shoes – when absolutely required.
I hope we are just as good at their age.
