Next level coffee

If you are a lover of coffee in Japan you can go the next level… by ordering your preferred green beans then select how to have them roasted at the mini roaster which takes approximately 15 minutes. This is not a one- off as in the same complex there were places where this was offered.

We just ordered their standard house blend coffee- which I must add was very good.

Catching up with friends

There is nothing better than having dinner with friends you have not seen in a long time. Last night our Brompton friends took us to a fishy izakaya.

We were on the third floor.. and had Japanese style seating. Sorry didn’t take any photos in the place… but did take photos of the food… oh it was super tasty!

We had a great time talking about holidays, cycling… what else is there?

Upon entry to the restaurant they had on display a fish that would be served if you wanted to order a dish from it – which I think (if I can remember) we had sashimi style… super tasty!

The food was so good… we really enjoyed the meal and spending time with cycling friends.
