Possible Bonus September Ride – 14 September 2025

An Adelaide Bromptoneer has suggested that we join as a group in the celebrations of Super Cycle Sunday on Sunday 14 September 2025. If you would like us to arrange bonus 20km ride starting at 11:00am and arriving at Light Square for Super Cycle Sunday at around 12:00 noon please leave a comment on this post to indicate your interest. Canberra Takeover Update – April 2026

We have had good interest in our Canberra Takeover 20-24 April 2026. Thank you! We have now reached the maximum number of registrations that we can comfortably support. If you are still interested, please register your interest now from the Advance Notice – Adelaide Bromptoneering Canberra Takeover ’26 post and we will add you to the waitlist. People on the waitlist will be invited to join if an already registered rider is unable to participate.

Spotted in the wild

Last weekend we were in Sydney and spotted this Brompton on the rail replacement services while the new Metro is extended to the south west. Bromptons and Metros certainly go together.

November Social Ride

Helen and I did a test ride of the November 2025 social ride route last week. Here are some photos.

The next ride is an adventure ride around Mount Barker. There is more hills compared to the normal Adelaide Bromptoneering Social Ride. If you’d like to give it a go – don’t worry – please do. as We will have a tail end Charlie to ensure that no one is left behind.
